Description

The Desmarres Retractor is a small double-ended instrument used to hold back skin and soft tissue during delicate surgery. It is suited to plastic, reconstructive, ophthalmic, facial, and ENT procedures, particularly when the surgeon is working in a confined area and needs controlled exposure without a bulky retractor.

Both ends have broad, smooth blades for lifting and moving tissue. The smooth surfaces give the tissue a wider area of contact instead of concentrating pressure at a sharp point.
