Description
The Frazier Suction Tube is used for controlled suction and removal of blood, fluid, and small debris from the surgical field. Its narrow tube allows suction to be directed to a specific area, which is useful when working around delicate structures or in a confined operative site.
The tube has a gently curved working end and a finger-control handle near the connection. The opening can be covered and released with the finger to control the amount of suction during the procedure, giving the surgeon a simple way to adjust aspiration as needed.
Two working lengths are available: 17 cm (6¾”) and 23 cm (9″). Each length comes in several French gauge sizes. The 17 cm version is available in 6FG, 7FG, 8FG, 9FG, 10FG, 11FG, and 12FG, with tube diameters from 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm. The 23 cm version is offered in the same sizes, with the same diameter range.
The size options allow the tube to be selected according to the amount of suction and access required. The 6FG tube measures 2.0 mm Ø, while the sizes increase through 7FG (2.3 mm), 8FG (2.7 mm), 9FG (3.0 mm), 10FG (3.3 mm), 11FG (3.7 mm), and 12FG (4.0 mm).
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the suction tube is intended for repeated clinical use and sterilization. Each instrument is carefully checked for quality, including the tube, suction opening, control section, and connection, to ensure proper finish and operation. It should also be inspected regularly for blockage, bending, or damage.
With two working lengths, seven FG sizes, and tube diameters from 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm, the Frazier Suction Tube provides different options for controlled suction during surgical procedures.
