Description
The Mini-Lexer Osteotome is designed for bone cutting and removal in orthopedic procedures. It has an 18 cm (7″) length and a straight working end, with different blade widths for different cutting requirements.
The straight blades are available in 2 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm widths. The narrower sizes suit smaller areas, while the wider blades cover more bone with each pass. A set of 5 sizes, from 2 mm to 10 mm, is also available.
The flat blade is connected to a narrow shaft and a broad handle behind it. The handle gives the surgeon a firm surface to hold while positioning the cutting edge against the bone.
The different widths give some flexibility during a procedure. A smaller blade can be chosen when the cutting area is limited, while a wider one can be used when more bone needs to be addressed. Since the instrument remains 18 cm (7″) long across the range, the handling stays familiar when changing from one size to another.
The straight working end provides a direct cutting edge for controlled bone work. The handle is shaped to allow the instrument to be held securely and used with controlled tapping when appropriate. This makes it suitable for orthopedic procedures where bone needs to be cut, shaped, or removed.
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the osteotome is intended for repeated professional use and sterilization. Each instrument is carefully checked for quality, including the blade edge, shaft, handle, and overall finish. The working end should also be inspected before use for chips, bending, or other damage.
The Mini-Lexer Osteotome is a straightforward orthopedic instrument for controlled bone work, with a choice of blade sizes to suit different surgical requirements.
