Description
The Cup Extraction Chisel is designed for orthopedic procedures where bone needs to be cut or removed during an extraction. It has a 32 cm (12½”) length, giving it the reach needed for deeper working areas. The working end has a curved 7 mm tip and a metal strike plate is built into the handle for controlled tapping.
The curved tip has a broad and slightly hollowed profile rather than a straight cutting edge. This cup-like shape helps the chisel engage with the bone during extraction work while the curved form allows it to be positioned against the working surface.
The 7 mm tip provides a relatively narrow working area for controlled bone removal. Its curved shape can be positioned under or alongside the area being worked on, depending on the surgical approach.
The 32 cm (12½”) length provides additional reach without placing the hand directly beside the working end. The blue handle gives the instrument a firm grip, while the metal strike plate allows a surgical mallet to be used when additional force is required.
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the chisel is intended for repeated professional use and sterilization. Each instrument is carefully checked for quality, including the curved tip, shaft, handle, and strike plate. The working edge should be inspected before use for chips, bending, or other damage.
The Cup Extraction Chisel combines a curved 7 mm working tip with a long shaft and strikeable handle for controlled bone work during orthopedic extraction procedures.
