Description
The Flap Dissector is designed for dissection of the deep temporal fascia during endoscopic brow lift and forehead surgery. It measures 22.5 cm / 8¾” and has a curved 6 mm wide working end, giving the surgeon a narrow instrument for working along the temporal area. Instruments of this type are part of standard endoscopic facelift and brow lift sets.
The curved tip gives the working end a useful angle when entering and following the tissue plane. Its 6 mm width keeps the blade relatively slim, which is helpful when working around the temporal fascia rather than needing a broad dissecting surface.
During the procedure, the instrument can be used to separate tissue from the deep temporal fascia and help develop the required plane before continuing the dissection toward the forehead. Careful separation of the temporal fascial layers is an important part of endoscopic forehead and facial procedures.
At 22.5 cm / 8¾” long, it provides enough reach through the small incisions used in endoscopic facial surgery. The curved working end and shaped handle also keep the surgeon’s hand away from the immediate operative area.
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is suitable for repeated professional use and sterilization. The curved working end, shaft, handle connection, alignment, and overall finish are checked during quality inspection.
The Flap Dissector is a slim, curved instrument for working along the deep temporal fascia during endoscopic forehead and brow procedures.
