Description

Fomon Easy-Cut Dorsal Scissors are made for controlled cutting and dissection during nasal procedures, including rhinoplasty. Measuring 14.5 cm (6″) in length, they give the surgeon a little more reach while keeping the instrument manageable for work around the nose. The longer length can be useful when the working area is slightly deeper or when extra clearance between the hand and the surgical site is preferred.

The blades have a slim, angled working profile that fits naturally into the restricted space encountered during nasal surgery. These scissors can be used when working around the nasal dorsum and related soft tissue structures. Their shape allows the blades to reach the area without requiring the handle to sit directly over the operative field, which can make positioning more comfortable during detailed dissection.

With an overall length of 14.5 cm (6″), the instrument offers a balance between reach and control. It is long enough for deeper access but not so large that it becomes difficult to maneuver in the relatively small working area of rhinoplasty. The design is intended for precise hand movements rather than forceful cutting.

The construction is suited to professional surgical use, with attention to the fit and movement of the blades and the overall finish of the instrument. Proper inspection of the cutting edges, alignment, joint movement, and surface finish helps ensure the scissors are ready for repeated use in a surgical setting.

For nasal surgeons who prefer a little more length when working around the dorsum, Fomon Easy-Cut Dorsal Scissors provide a practical option without adding unnecessary bulk. The 14.5 cm (6″) size and angled working profile make them well suited to detailed nasal dissection and cutting.
