The Bowdler-Henry Rake Retractor is designed for retracting soft tissue during surgical procedures where a clear view of the working area is needed. It measures 19 cm / 7½” and has a curved rake-shaped working end with a long shaft and broad handle. The angled profile allows the working end to reach into the surgical area while keeping the handle away from the immediate field.

The rake-shaped end has small teeth that engage the tissue during retraction. Its curved profile allows the working end to be positioned around the tissue being retracted, while the long shaft provides useful reach into the surgical site.
