The Fergusson Mouth Gag Adult is a 20 cm / 8″ oral surgery instrument designed to hold the mouth open during procedures requiring access to the oral cavity. Its frame has two curved arms ending in opposing Ackland jaws, with working ends shaped to rest against the teeth.

Measuring 20 cm / 8″ overall, the instrument has a long, slim profile that is easy to position from the side of the mouth. The two arms open and close around a central sliding adjustment and locking assembly, allowing the frame to be set at the required opening. The handles provide a firm grip while the curved arms keep the working ends aligned.
