Description

The Browse Retractor Long Prong Left & Right measures 19.5 cm (6¾”) and has two opposing blades, each with four blunt prongs. The arms curve outward from the central joint and end in scissor-style handles with finger rings. A small adjustment mechanism sits near the joint.

The two patterns differ in the depth of their blades. On the left pattern, the left blade is 50 mm deep and the right blade is 25 mm deep. On the right pattern, these dimensions are reversed, with the right blade measuring 50 mm and the left blade 25 mm.

Both blades have four separate prongs with blunt ends. The open spaces between the prongs leave gaps along the working surface, while the curved arms connect the blades to the handle assembly. The finger rings provide a grip for positioning the retractor during surgery.

This retractor is used in femoral-popliteal bypass surgery to hold tissue aside during exposure of the blood vessels. The left and right patterns offer different blade arrangements for the surgical approach. The appropriate version can be selected according to the side and the space required at the operative site.

Made from surgical stainless steel, the instrument is intended for repeated use after cleaning and sterilization. Before dispatch, each piece goes through our quality inspection process.
