Description

The Cooley Paediatric Vascular Clamp has a Satinsky jaw pattern. It has a clearly visible bend at the tip. The instrument measures 12 cm (4¾”) and is designed for use in paediatric vascular procedures. The compact size and angled working end make it easier to position the clamp around vessels in a small surgical field.

The jaws curve outward near the tip and then follow a long, narrow profile back towards the joint. Their inner surfaces have fine serrations, visible along the gripping edges. This shape distinguishes the clamp from straight vascular patterns and allows it to approach the vessel from an angle.

At the handle end, the instrument has two oval finger rings, which make it easier to grab. It also has a ratchet lock mechanism. The handles are connected by a central joint, which helps in opening or closing the jaws. The ratchet holds the clamp in its closed position which is very helpful during surgical procedures.
