Description
The SuperCut Slider Scissors are surgical scissors designed for cutting tissue during procedures where a curved blade and a slim shaft are needed. They have curved jaws, a 10 mm shaft, and a slider-style design. The blades use a Tungsten Carbide edge, and the range includes three blade patterns to suit different cutting requirements.
All three versions have a 10 mm shaft, but their blade shapes and overall lengths differ. The standard curved blade measures 55 mm, with a total instrument length of 36 cm. The thin curved blade also measures 55 mm and has the same 36 cm overall length. The short-jaw curved version has a 35 mm blade and a shorter overall length of 29 cm.
The standard pattern has a broad, curved cutting blade. The thin version has a narrower blade profile, while the short-jaw pattern has a shorter working end. The choice between them depends on the blade length and shape needed for the procedure.
The scissors have long, straight shafts leading to the curved blades. At the handle end, two finger rings provide a familiar way to hold and operate the instrument. The gold-coloured rings and shaft details distinguish the design visually. The slider mechanism is part of the instrument’s construction, while the curved blades form the working end.
The scissors are made from surgical stainless steel, with Tungsten Carbide cutting edges specified for this range. Before dispatch, each instrument passes through our quality inspection process. Our team checks the blades, slider mechanism, shaft, handles, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the scissors are packed for delivery.
The SuperCut Slider Scissors are available in three patterns: standard curved blade, thin curved blade, and short-jaw curved blade. The first two have 55 mm blades and measure 36 cm overall; the short-jaw version has a 35 mm blade and measures 29 cm. All three have a 10 mm shaft and Tungsten Carbide cutting edges.
