Description

The Tungsten Adson Forceps are designed for delicate tissue handling where a fine tip and a secure grip are needed. Tungsten carbide inserts at the working tips add wear resistance to the forceps and help the gripping surfaces retain their shape through repeated use.

The working end has 1.8 mm tips, giving the forceps a fine profile for controlled tissue manipulation. They are available in non-toothed and 1×2 toothed configurations, so the appropriate pattern can be chosen for the tissue being handled. The toothed version gives a firmer hold on skin and denser tissue and can be useful during suturing and wound closure. The non-toothed version is better suited to more delicate tissue where a gentler grip is preferred.

A broad thumb grip provides a stable contact point for the fingers, while the balanced construction makes the forceps easy to guide with small hand movements. The tungsten carbide working surfaces are also suited to repeated sterilization and regular clinical use, helping the forceps maintain their gripping function over time.

The main body is made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, with tungsten carbide inserts at the working tips. The combination gives the instrument the strength and corrosion resistance expected from a reusable surgical instrument, along with added wear resistance at the areas that receive the most use. Each instrument is inspected for the condition and alignment of its working surfaces before supply.

With 1.8 mm tips, two gripping patterns, and tungsten carbide inserts, the Tungsten Adson Forceps are suited to controlled tissue handling across a range of surgical procedures.
