Description
The DeBakey-Derra Anastomosis Clamp has a curved working end with a hooked tip and long shanks leading to oval ring handles. There are fine serrations that run along the inner surfaces of the jaws. The shape of the tip is the main feature of this clamp, giving it a different profile from the standard DeBakey Anastomosis Clamp.
The instrument measures 17 cm (6¾”) and comes in three jaw sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. The overall length stays the same across all three versions, but the size and curve of the working end differ. This gives customers a choice of jaw pattern without changing the length of the instrument.
The jaws bend around to form a hooked shape, with serrations running along the inner gripping surfaces. The shanks extend back from the jaws towards the central joint. Although the three versions share the same general design, the Small, Medium, and Large patterns have visibly different jaw proportions.
The handles have two oval finger rings and a ratchet lock near the joint. The lock holds the jaws closed when engaged and releases when the clamp needs to open. The long shanks connect the handles to the curved working end, while the hooked tips distinguish this pattern from clamps with a simpler bend.
The clamp is made from surgical stainless steel and can be reused after proper cleaning and sterilization. Each instrument goes through our quality inspection process before dispatch. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed for delivery.
The DeBakey-Derra Anastomosis Clamp is available in Small, Medium, and Large patterns, all measuring 17 cm (6¾”). Each version has a hooked, curved working end, fine inner serrations, oval finger rings, and a ratchet lock. The main difference between the three options is the size and shape of the jaws.
