Description
The Arcus Marginalis Dissector is used for dissection along the orbital rim during endoscopic brow lift and lower eyelid or midface procedures. It measures 24 cm / 9½” and has an S-shaped shaft with an 8 mm wide working end. The curved profile allows the tip to follow the contour of the orbital area.
The S-shaped shaft changes the angle of the working end while keeping the handle away from the eye and surrounding operative field. The 8 mm tip provides a useful working surface without being excessively broad for this confined area.
The instrument is intended for dissection along the orbital rim, including work around the arcus marginalis, a fibrous attachment at the junction of the lower eyelid and orbital rim. Releasing this area is part of some brow lift and midface procedures where the lower eyelid and cheek tissues need to be mobilized.
Its 24 cm / 9½” length gives the surgeon the reach needed through a limited surgical approach. The S-shaped profile also helps the working end sit against the orbital contour rather than approaching it as a straight blade.
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is suitable for repeated professional use and sterilization. The working end, S-shaped shaft, handle connection, alignment, and surface finish are checked during quality inspection.
The Arcus Marginalis Dissector is shaped for controlled dissection along the orbital rim, with a narrow working end suited to this delicate part of facial surgery.
