Description

The Cooley-Derra Anastomosis Clamp has angled jaws and long shanks that bend near the working end. The jaws have fine serrations along their inner surfaces and a hooked shape at the tips. This pattern is used in vascular surgery, when a clamp with an angled working end is needed around a vessel.

It is available in three different sizes: Small 16.5 cm (6½”); Medium, 17 cm (6¾”); and Large, 17.5 cm (7″). The three versions have a similar overall design but they each have different jaw size and reach. The small pattern is the shortest and ideal for confined working areas. The large version provides an additional centimetre of length compared with the smallest option.

The jaws bend near the tips before extending back towards the joint. Their inner surfaces have closely spaced serrations, and the ends turn upwards slightly. The shanks follow the angled profile of the working end, giving the clamp its characteristic shape. The three patterns differ in size while keeping this general design.

The handles have two oval finger rings that are ideal for a comfortable grip. There is also a ratchet lock beside the joint. The rings provide a grip for opening and closing the clamp, and the ratchet holds the jaws closed when engaged. The long shanks connect the handles to the angled jaws without making the instrument bulky at the working end.

The clamp is made from surgical stainless steel and is intended for repeated use after proper cleaning and sterilization. Before dispatch, each instrument goes through our quality inspection process.
