Description
The DeBakey Curved Anastomosis Forceps have curved shanks and hooked working ends. The jaws follow a rounded curve, with fine serrations along the inner gripping surfaces. The shape differs from straight anastomosis forceps, particularly around the tips, which turn back towards the shanks.
These forceps measure 17 cm (6¾”) in length and are available in two jaw patterns. Both versions have curved shanks, but the shape and width of the curve differ. One has a tighter curve, while the other has a broader, more open shape. The overall length remains the same in both versions.
The jaws are narrow and follow a smooth arc before turning down towards the joint. There are multiple fine serrations along the inner edges that provide a gripping surface. The hooked ends are a noticeable feature of this pattern and give it a different shape from forceps with a simple angled tip.
The handles have two oval finger rings and a ratchet lock near the joint. The rings allow the instrument to be held and operated by hand, while the ratchet keeps the jaws closed when engaged. The curved shanks connect the handles to the working end, with the same general handle arrangement in both patterns.
The forceps are made from surgical stainless steel and can be reused after proper cleaning and sterilization. Every instrument goes through our quality inspection process before dispatch. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed for delivery.
The DeBakey Curved Anastomosis Forceps are supplied in a 17 cm (6¾”) length, with two curved jaw patterns available. Both versions have hooked tips, fine serrations, oval finger rings, and a ratchet lock. The main difference is the shape of the curve, allowing customers to select the pattern that matches their instrument requirements.
