Description
The DeBakey-Dietrich Mini Bulldog Clamp – Angled 50° is a miniature vascular clamp with jaws that bend at a 50° angle. It is used to clamp blood vessels during surgery. The angled working end changes the direction of the jaws compared with the straight pattern, making this a separate option within the mini bulldog clamp range.
Three sizes are available: 44 mm, 46 mm, and 49 mm overall. Their jaw lengths are 10 mm, 14 mm, and 20 mm, respectively. Although the overall lengths differ by only a few millimetres, the jaw measurements provide a clear way to distinguish the three options when ordering.
The jaws turn at an angle near the front of the clamp, rather than extending straight ahead. Fine serrations run along the gripping surfaces. The body has a ridged section for handling, and the compact construction keeps the instrument small compared with larger vascular clamps that use long shafts and ring handles.
All three sizes have the same general 50° jaw pattern, but the overall length and jaw length vary. This allows surgeons to choose between three sizes. It weighs 3 g with a closing pressure of 60 g.
The clamp is made from surgical stainless steel and can be reused after proper cleaning and sterilization. Before dispatch, each instrument goes through our quality inspection process. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed for delivery.
