Description
The DeBakey Multi-Purpose Clamp has narrow jaws with fine serrations along the inner edges. The shanks are angled, and three patterns are available, each with a different bend at the working end. These shapes give the surgeon a choice when clamping vessels from different positions during vascular surgery.
The clamp comes in three sizes: 16 cm (6¼”) with 30° angled jaws, 15.5 cm (6″) with 60° angled jaws, and 14.5 cm (5¾”) with 90° angled jaws. The jaw angle and overall length differ between the versions, so the appropriate pattern can be selected for the working area.
The 30° pattern has a gradual bend, while the 60° version turns more sharply. The 90° jaws make a much tighter turn near the end. All three have long, narrow gripping surfaces with fine serrations running along the inner edges.
The clamp has two oval finger rings and a ratchet lock near the joint. The lock holds the jaws closed when engaged and releases when the clamp needs to open. The shanks connect the handles to the angled jaws, with the bend varying across the three patterns.
Made from surgical stainless steel, the clamp is intended for repeated use after proper cleaning and sterilization. Each instrument undergoes quality inspection before dispatch. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed.
The DeBakey Multi-Purpose Clamp is available with 30°, 60°, or 90° angled jaws in lengths of 16 cm, 15.5 cm, and 14.5 cm, respectively. All three versions have fine serrations, angled shanks, oval finger rings, and a ratchet lock.
