Description
The DeBakey-Satinsky Bulldog Clamp – Curved is a vascular instrument that is used to clamp blood vessels during surgery. This version has an extended working end with a pronounced curve near the tip. The long jaws follow the curve before running down towards the body, giving the clamp a different profile from shorter bulldog patterns.
The clamp has a 100 mm jaw length. There are very fine serrations running along the inner gripping surfaces, following the curve of the jaws. The working end bends near the tip and then continues into a long, narrow section. This extended shape is the main feature of the model and distinguishes it from the 55 mm DeBakey-Satinsky Bulldog Clamp.
The body is compact compared with ring-handled vascular clamps. A central circular section joins the two arms, while the rear has a spring mechanism and ridged gripping surfaces. The spring provides the closing action, and the textured area gives the user a place to hold when positioning or releasing the instrument.
The curved jaws give this clamp a different working profile from a straight bulldog pattern. Instead of approaching the vessel along a direct line, the tips follow the bend. The long jaw length is another important point when comparing this model with other clamps in the range.
Made from surgical stainless steel, the clamp is intended for repeated use after proper cleaning and sterilization. Before dispatch, each instrument passes through our quality inspection process. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, spring mechanism, and overall workmanship before the product is packed for delivery.
The DeBakey-Satinsky Bulldog Clamp – Curved has 100 mm curved jaws with fine serrations and a spring-operated body. Its extended working end and curved profile distinguish it from shorter bulldog clamps. This version is offered for those who need this particular jaw length and shape in their vascular instrument range.
