Fomon Alar Retractor is a small retractor used to hold the alar tissue aside during nasal procedures. It measures 16 cm (6¼”) and has two blunt prongs with rounded ball tips. Its compact size makes it easy to position around the nostril without getting in the way of the rest of the surgical field.

The two prongs curve outward and end in smooth, rounded balls. Instead of digging into the tissue, the blunt tips give a broader contact point while the prongs hold the alar edge in place. The simple shape also makes it easy to see where the working end is sitting.
