Description
The Frontotemporal Dissector 10 mm is used for the initial dissection made through forehead incisions during endoscopic brow lift and forehead lift procedures. Its straight 10 mm wide working end is designed for opening and developing the tissue plane from the forehead incision.
At 22.5 cm / 8¾” long, it gives the surgeon enough reach to work through a small forehead entry point without bringing the handle too close to the operative area. The straight, broad tip is suited to the initial part of the dissection, where a wider working surface can be useful.
The instrument is part of the group of dissectors used for endoscopic forehead surgery. It is specifically listed for initial dissection through forehead incisions, while other frontotemporal instruments may be used later for more specific areas or tissue planes.
The 10 mm width gives the working end a fairly broad surface compared with finer dissecting instruments. Its straight profile keeps the tip easy to position when starting the dissection, while the shaped handle provides a firm grip during controlled movements.
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is suitable for repeated professional use and sterilization. The working end, shaft, handle, alignment, and overall surface finish are checked during quality inspection before supply.
The Frontotemporal Dissector 10 mm is a straightforward instrument for the initial tissue dissection required in endoscopic brow and forehead lift surgery.
