Description

The Heparin Flushing Needle is used to flush vascular lines and cannulae with a prescribed solution when required during clinical procedures. It has a long, narrow metal shaft with a small tip at one end and a Luer lock fitting at the other. The simple, slim design allows it to be used with compatible equipment for flushing applications.

The needle is available with three tip diameters: 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm. Each option has the same general shape, with the tip size being the main difference. Having these sizes available makes it easier to select the version that matches the requirements of the intended application and the compatible equipment.

The shaft is straight and slender, extending from the small rounded working tip to the wider connector. Its narrow profile contrasts with the larger fitting at the rear. The tip is shaped differently from the connector end, which provides the point of contact at the working site while the opposite end attaches to the relevant equipment.

A Luer lock connection is fitted at the rear of the instrument. Its shaped metal fitting provides a secure connection with compatible Luer lock equipment. The connector is wider than the shaft and has a faceted outer section, making it easy to distinguish from the long, narrow working portion.

The instrument is made from surgical stainless steel and must be handled according to the applicable cleaning, sterilization, and clinical-use requirements. Before dispatch, each item passes through our quality inspection process. Our team checks the shaft, tip, connector, surface finish, and overall workmanship before packing the product for delivery.

The Heparin Flushing Needle is available in 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm tip diameters. All three options feature a slim, straight shaft and a Luer lock connection. The tip diameter is the main point of difference between the versions, allowing customers to select the size required for their compatible equipment and intended flushing application.
