Description

The Periosteal Dissector/Elevator is designed for elevating the periosteum during forehead and brow lift procedures. It measures 24 cm / 9½” and has an S-shaped shaft with a 5 mm wide working end, giving the instrument a narrow profile for working through limited access.

The S-shaped shaft changes the angle of the working end, making it easier to approach the periosteal layer while keeping the handle positioned away from the surgical site. The smooth end can be placed against the tissue and used to lift the periosteum from the underlying surface.

Its 24 cm / 9½” length provides useful reach during endoscopic forehead surgery. The 5 mm width keeps the working end relatively narrow, which can be helpful when working in a more confined area.

This instrument is used for periosteal elevation during brow and forehead lift surgery, following the initial tissue dissection. Its shape is suited to working along the periosteal layer rather than performing broad tissue retraction.
