Description

The Scalp Elevator is used during brow lift and forehead surgery to elevate and separate scalp tissue as the surgeon develops the required surgical plane. This version measures 25.5 cm / 10″ and has a curved 12 mm wide working end. It is one of several scalp elevator shapes used in browlift procedures.

The curved working end gives the instrument a broader contact area against the scalp. Rather than having a pointed tip, the smooth blade can be placed beneath the tissue and used to lift or separate it during the procedure.

Its 25.5 cm / 10″ length provides useful reach when working through the small access points used in endoscopic forehead surgery. The curved 12 mm blade also gives more surface coverage than the narrower 7 mm scalp elevator in the same instrument range.

This type of elevator is used during endoscopic brow lift and forehead lift procedures, where the scalp and forehead tissues need to be mobilized before repositioning. The curved profile can be selected when the surgeon wants a wider working surface with a more pronounced curve.
