Description

The Slimline Basket Punch is a narrow, compact instrument designed for working in confined surgical areas. Its slim working profile makes it easier to bring the jaws into a restricted space, while the ring handles provide a familiar way to open and close the instrument.

The working end has a 1.7 mm jaw width and is offered in several shaft and tip patterns. These include a straight tip and shaft, upwards angled tip, upwards angled shaft, left curved shaft, and right curved shaft. The different shapes allow the instrument to approach the working area from different directions.

The narrow basket-style jaws are positioned at the end of the shaft and are operated through the handles at the opposite end. The straight version gives a direct approach, while the angled and curved patterns can be useful where a straight instrument cannot easily reach the required position. All configurations use the same 1.7 mm jaw width.

A flushing port is built into the instrument for cleaning the internal working section. This is a useful part of the design, particularly because the instrument has a narrow shaft and moving jaws. The port provides access for cleaning after use rather than leaving the working channel difficult to reach.

The slim profile is the main feature of this punch. Keeping the shaft narrow helps reduce the amount of space occupied around the operative site, while the different bends provide options for approaching the target from the left, right, upward, or straight ahead.

Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is intended for repeated professional use and sterilization. Each punch is carefully checked for quality, including the jaws, shaft, hinge, flushing port, and overall finish. The working end should be inspected before use for proper jaw movement, alignment, and any signs of damage.

The Slimline Basket Punch combines a narrow 1.7 mm jaw width with several shaft and tip configurations for work in confined surgical areas.
