Description

Super Fine Curved Dissecting Scissors are used for fine tissue dissection. They have short curved blades with rounded tips and a flat spring handle. The scissors measure 15 cm (6″) overall. The working end is small, with the curved blades measuring 12 mm.

The blades follow a gentle curve from the joint to the tips. Both ends are rounded, and the cutting edges are on the inside of the curve. The short blades keep the working part small. When the handle is pressed, the blades come together and separate again when the pressure is released.

The handle is flat and has a spring mechanism. There are no finger rings on this pattern. The two sides of the handle form one slim body behind the joint. From there, the curved blades extend toward the front. The shape allows the working end to be brought around small areas of tissue.

These scissors can be used for delicate tissue dissection and separation around small vessels and other soft tissue. The curved blades can follow the area being worked on, while the rounded tips sit ahead of the cutting edges. The 12 mm blade length keeps the cutting part short for fine work under magnification.

The scissors are made from surgical stainless steel with a smooth metal surface. The curved blades and rounded tips are finished carefully, and the spring handle is checked for proper movement.
