Description

The Temporal Line Dissector is used during endoscopic brow and forehead lift surgery to work along the temporal region. It has a straight 10 mm wide working end and measures 23.5 cm / 9¼” long. Its main purpose is to separate the temporal fascia during the dissection.

The straight working end gives the surgeon a broad surface for working through the fascial plane. Its 10 mm width is useful when a little more coverage is needed rather than the narrower tip found on some of the other forehead dissectors.

The temporal region needs careful handling because several layers of fascia meet around the temporal line. During endoscopic brow procedures, dissection in this area may involve separating the superficial temporal fascia from the deeper fascial layer before continuing toward the forehead.

The 23.5 cm / 9¼” length provides reach through the limited access used in endoscopic facial surgery. The straight profile keeps the working end easy to position along the temporal line while the shaped handle remains outside the immediate operative field.

Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is suitable for repeated professional use and sterilization. The working end, shaft, handle connection, alignment, and overall finish are checked during quality inspection.

The Temporal Line Dissector is designed specifically for separating the temporal fascia as part of the dissection performed in endoscopic brow and forehead procedures.
