Description
Vessel Dilators and Spreader are used during surgical procedures involving blood vessels. The range includes three vessel dilators with different ball tip diameters and a separate vessel spreader. The dilators measure 12.5 cm (5 inches) each, while the spreader measures 16 cm (6¼ inches).
The vessel dilators are available with 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, and 1.5 mm ball tips. Each has a long, narrow shaft with an angled working end and a small rounded tip. The different diameters allow the appropriate size to be selected for the vessel and the procedure.
All three dilators share a similar shape, with the main difference being the diameter of the ball tip. The slim shaft extends from the angled section to the handle end. Their compact length makes them easy to position when working with small vessels.
The vessel spreader has a different working end. Its bent, open profile is designed to spread tissue or hold an opening apart during a procedure. It measures 16 cm (6¼ inches) and has a long stem leading to the shaped working section.
The instruments have surgical stainless steel construction with narrow shafts and formed working ends. Before dispatch, each piece is checked for visible surface damage, tip condition, and any defects in the shaft or working end. The dilator tips are checked for their rounded finish, while the spreader’s shaped end is examined as part of the inspection.
Vessel Dilators and Spreader are available as three dilator sizes and one spreader pattern. The dilators have ball tips measuring 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, or 1.5 mm, with a length of 12.5 cm (5 inches). The spreader measures 16 cm (6¼ inches).
