Description
The Walter Nasal Osteotome is made for cutting and reshaping bone during nasal surgery. It measures 19 cm / 7½” and has a long, straight shaft with a broad, flat working end. The handle includes a raised grip area that gives the hand a firm place to hold while the osteotome is positioned and tapped. Instrumentarium
It is available in 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, and 12 mm sizes. The narrower widths are useful for more focused bone work, while the wider options cover more of the working area. Having several sizes makes it possible to choose the blade width according to the part of the nasal framework being treated.
In rhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction, the osteotome can be used for nasal bone cutting, trimming, and reshaping. It is also used when controlled osteotomies are needed to change the position or shape of the nasal bones. The straight working end gives a direct approach to the area being treated.
The 2 mm and 3 mm sizes provide narrower working edges, while the 7 mm, 9 mm, and 12 mm options cover progressively wider areas. The 4 mm size sits between these choices. All six versions have the same 19 cm length, so the overall handling stays familiar when changing from one width to another.
Made from surgical stainless steel, the instrument is built for repeated surgical use and sterilization. At our facility, every instrument goes through quality inspection before dispatch, including checks of the working edge, shaft, handle, finish, and overall construction. Each piece is inspected to ensure it meets our quality standards before reaching the customer.
For nasal bone work, the Walter Nasal Osteotome offers six blade widths from 2 mm to 12 mm in a 19 cm instrument. The straight profile and range of sizes make it suitable for controlled cutting, trimming, and reshaping of the nasal bones during rhinoplasty and related reconstructive procedures.
