Description
The Waterson Vessel Clamp has long shanks and angled Cooley jaws. The jaws bend near the tips, with narrow gripping surfaces that follow the same angled shape. The instrument measures 18 cm (7″) and is designed for vascular procedures where this jaw pattern is required.
The Cooley jaws have a noticeable bend near the working end rather than running straight from the joint. Their inner surfaces have fine serrations, visible along the length of the gripping area. The tips turn upwards slightly, while the rest of the jaws extend forward before joining the shanks.
At 18 cm long, the clamp has a slim profile with a long reach from the handles to the working end. The shanks angle near the jaws and then run back towards the joint. This gives the instrument its distinctive outline and separates it from vessel clamps with straight jaws.
The handles have two oval finger rings, with a ratchet lock positioned beside the joint. The rings provide a grip for opening and closing the clamp, while the ratchet holds the jaws closed when engaged. The angled Cooley jaws are the main feature of this pattern.
The clamp is made from surgical stainless steel and can be reused after proper cleaning and sterilization. Before dispatch, each instrument goes through our quality inspection process. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed for delivery.
