Description

The Lambotte Osteotome is designed for controlled bone cutting, shaping, and preparation during spinal and orthopedic procedures. Its one-piece construction gives the instrument a simple, balanced design for use with a surgical mallet. It can be used for different types of bone work, from smaller cuts to broader osteotomy and bone resection.

The instrument is available in both straight and curved patterns. The straight version provides a direct approach for cutting and preparing bone, while the curved version can be useful when the working area is harder to reach or the blade needs to be positioned around nearby structures.

The straight pattern is 25 cm (9¾”) long, while the curved pattern measures 23 cm (9″). Both versions are available in varied blade widths; 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 13 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm.  The variations give surgical teams several sizes to choose from. The smaller widths can be used for more limited bone work, while the wider blades are suitable when a larger section needs to be cut or shaped.

The one-piece design also keeps the instrument straightforward to handle. With no separate working parts along the shaft, the osteotome provides a solid feel when used with a mallet. The different blade shapes and widths allow the instrument to be selected according to the procedure and the area being treated.

It is made from surgical-grade stainless steel and goes through quality control inspection before it is supplied.
