Description
The Bayonet Tumour Grasping Forceps are designed for grasping and handling tissue during delicate surgical procedures. The bayonet profile keeps the handle away from the working area, while the round body gives the forceps a slim shape for work in deeper fields.
The working end has flat serrated jaws that help hold tissue without easily slipping. They can be used when tissue needs to be grasped, moved, or held during a procedure.
The forceps are 23 cm (9″) long and available with 3 mm or 5 mm jaw sizes. The smaller end offers a finer gripping area, while the 5 mm version provides a wider contact surface. Both options have the same overall length.
The offset design leaves the surgeon’s view less obstructed by the handle. This can be useful when working in a narrow surgical field where seeing the tip clearly matters.
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is suitable for repeated use with proper cleaning and sterilization. The jaws should be checked for alignment and damage as part of routine instrument inspection.
With its 23 cm length, round body, flat serrated jaws, and two jaw sizes, the Bayonet Tumour Grasping Forceps are made for controlled tissue grasping in delicate surgical work.
