The Cervical Vertebral Spreader is designed to provide controlled distraction between cervical vertebral bodies during anterior cervical spine procedures. It can be used during cervical discectomy, decompression, fusion, and disc replacement procedures where maintaining access to the disc space is important.

The instrument has 3 mm tips designed to fit into the cervical disc space. Its narrow profile allows the spreader to be positioned within the working area while keeping the instrument compact. It is available with 70 mm and 95 mm working depths. Surgical teams can choose from different options based on patient anatomies and surgical approaches.

The ratcheted distraction mechanism is the highlight of these instruments. It allows the vertebral bodies to be opened gradually rather than all at once. The spreader offers distraction of up to 18 mm. It gives enough user control over how much separation is needed while keeping the instrument in position.
