Description

The DeBakey Dietrich Clamp has angled shanks and a Satinsky jaw pattern. The jaws curve near the tips and have fine serrations along the inner gripping surfaces. The offset shape gives the instrument a different approach from clamps with straight shanks, particularly when working around vessels during surgery.

The clamp measures 17 cm (6½”) in length. Its shanks have several bends between the handles and the jaws, while the working end turns upwards to form the Satinsky pattern. This shorter instrument has the same general ring-handled design as larger clamps, but its overall length is different.

The jaws are narrow and follow an angled path, with serrations running along the inner edges. The tips curve upwards, and the shanks bend back towards the central joint. These changes in direction give the clamp its characteristic outline. Both jaws follow a matching shape so they can come together when the instrument is closed.

Two oval finger rings form the handles, with a ratchet lock positioned beside the joint. The lock holds the jaws closed when engaged and releases when the clamp needs to open. The angled shanks and curved tips are the main features that distinguish this pattern from other vascular clamps.

The instrument is made from surgical stainless steel and can be reused after proper cleaning and sterilization. Each clamp undergoes quality inspection before dispatch. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the instrument is packed for delivery.

The DeBakey Dietrich Clamp is supplied in a 17 cm (6½”) length with angled shanks and Satinsky jaws. It has fine serrations along the gripping surfaces, oval finger rings, and a ratchet lock. Its compact length and angled working end distinguish it from the longer patterns in the aortic clamp range.
