Description

The DeBakey Multi-Purpose Forceps have curved shanks and jaws angled at 60°. The long and narrow jaws have fine serrations along the inner edges. These instruments are used in surgical procedures where tissue or blood vessels need to be grasped from an angle.

It is available in four lengths: 20 cm (8″), 24 cm (9½”), 30 cm (12″), and 25 cm (10″). The jaw design stays the same across the range, but the length of the instrument varies. The shorter versions are easier to handle in a smaller working area because they do not take up much space. The longer ones provide more reach which is essential in some cases.

The jaws are slim and with closely spaced serrations along the gripping surfaces. The shanks curve near the joint before extending towards the handles. This shape gives the forceps an angled working end without a sharp bend at the tip.

The handles are formed of two oval finger rings for better grip. It also has a ratchet lock positioned near the joint. The lock keeps the jaws closed when engaged and can be released to open them. The curved shanks and angled jaws are the main features that distinguish this pattern from straight forceps.

The forceps are made from surgical stainless steel and can be reused after proper cleaning and sterilization. Each instrument undergoes quality inspection before dispatch. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed.

The DeBakey Multi-Purpose Forceps are available in four lengths, from 20 cm to 30 cm. All versions have curved shanks, 60° angled jaws, fine serrations, and ring handles with a ratchet lock. The different sizes provide a choice of working reach for surgical use.
