Description
The Fagge Bone Elevator is used to lift periosteum and separate soft tissue when the bone needs to be exposed during surgery. It is used for orthopedic, trauma, and reconstructive procedures, including work around fractures and bone grafting.
The working end has a broad, spatulated blade. Its smooth surface provides a wider area for lifting tissue from the bone. The shape is useful when the surgeon needs to expose a section of bone rather than work with a narrow point.
The elevator measures 27.5 cm (10¾”) overall. The extra length gives it useful reach for deeper operative areas and provides leverage when lifting tissue. The handle is shaped to keep the instrument steady in the hand while it is being positioned or moved along the bone.
The Fagge Bone Elevator can be used for periosteal elevation, soft tissue separation, and bone exposure during procedures such as fracture fixation, bone grafting, and reconstructive surgery. Its broad blade gives the user a larger working surface for these tasks.
Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is intended for repeated surgical use. The material provides strength and resistance to corrosion when the elevator is properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. Each instrument is also inspected for its finish and overall condition before supply.
With its broad spatulated blade and 27.5 cm (10¾”) length, the Fagge Bone Elevator is a straightforward instrument for lifting tissue and exposing bone during orthopedic, trauma, and reconstructive procedures.
