Description

The Gauge is a surgical measuring instrument with a long shaft and an adjustable scale. It measures distances from 3 mm to 30 mm and has an overall length of 34 cm (13½”). Two small tips project from the end of the shaft, allowing the instrument to be positioned at the points being measured.

The shaft is long and straight, with the measuring tips set at right angles to it. Near the handle, a graduated scale shows the measurement setting. A small adjustment control sits underneath this section, allowing the scale to be moved to the required position.

The 3–30 mm range covers a variety of measurement needs. The two tips are short and narrow, while the shaft provides the reach needed to position them at the surgical site. The scale is close to the handle, so the markings remain accessible during use.

The handle has a ribbed grip that provides a textured surface for holding the instrument. The adjustment section is wider than the shaft and connects it to the handle. The rest of the instrument has a slim profile, with the measuring tips forming the working end.

The instrument is made from surgical-grade metal. Before dispatch, each gauge is checked as part of our quality inspection process. The shaft, measuring tips, scale, adjustment control and handle are examined for visible damage and defects before packing.

The Gauge measures 34 cm (13½”) overall and covers measurements from 3 mm to 30 mm. It has a straight shaft, two projecting tips, a graduated scale and a ribbed handle.
