Description

The MacDonald Elevator/Dissector is a double-ended instrument used during spinal and orthopedic procedures for lifting periosteum, separating soft tissue, and working through tissue planes. The two ends are made for different types of tissue work, so the instrument can be turned over when the other working surface is needed.

One end is suited to tissue elevation, while the other is used for blunt dissection. Both ends have slim working tips, which are easier to position in smaller or restricted areas than a wider elevator.
