Description

The Swinney Vascular Clamp – Adult has curved shanks and angled jaws with a broad bend near the tips. It uses a DeBakey jaw pattern measuring 60 mm, with fine serrations along the inner gripping surfaces. The jaws extend forward before turning down towards the shanks, giving the clamp its distinctive shape.

The adult version measures 23.5 cm (9¼”) in length. It has long arms that provide reach beyond the handles, while the curved working end follows a different line from a straight vascular clamp. The jaw pattern and overall length are the main features of this model.

The jaws have a long and angled profile. The fine serrations run along the inner surfaces, and the bend begins near the outer part of the jaw, continuing towards the joint. Both sides follow a matching shape, and the wide curve is clearly visible in the instrument illustration.

The handles have two oval finger rings for an easier grip. There is also a ratchet lock positioned near the joint. The lock holds the jaws closed when engaged and can be released to open them. The long shanks connect the handles to the working end, while the curved jaws give this clamp its particular profile.

The clamp is made from surgical stainless steel. It is intended for repeated use after proper cleaning and sterilization. Each instrument goes through our quality inspection process before dispatch. Our team checks the construction, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed for delivery.
