Description
The Tibbs Arterial Cannula is used to provide access to an artery during surgical procedures involving arterial cannulation. This long-pattern design has a narrow, gently curved metal shaft, with a connector at one end and a shaped tip at the other. The set includes four cannula patterns, each with a different tip shape to suit the required connection and insertion approach.
The cannula is supplied as a set of four, with large cone, small cone, large olive, and small olive patterns. Each has a different working end: the cone tips are flared, while the olive tips are rounded. These options allow the surgeon to select the pattern needed for the procedure rather than relying on one tip design.
Each cannula has a long, slim shaft with a slight curve along its length. The curve is visible in all four versions, although the exact shape of the tip varies. The shaft connects to a larger fitting at the rear, giving the instrument a narrow working end and a more substantial connection point.
The rear fitting uses a Luer lock connection. This provides the connection point for compatible equipment, while the shaped tip is selected according to the required cannulation approach. The large and small cone patterns differ in tip size, as do the large and small olive versions. These are the four options listed for this model.
Made from surgical stainless steel, the cannula is intended for use in clinical settings where appropriate cleaning and sterilization procedures apply. Before dispatch, each instrument undergoes our quality inspection process. Our team checks the shaft, tip, connector, surface finish, and overall workmanship before the product is packed for delivery.
The Tibbs Arterial Cannula is available in four patterns: large cone, small cone, large olive, and small olive. All have a long, curved shaft and a Luer lock connection. The main difference is the shape and size of the tip, allowing the required pattern to be selected for the intended arterial cannulation procedure.
